Quality Assurance Officer
DescriptionIncumbents are required to provide a high degree of management and
execution of these functions, focused on continuous improvement and the
ability to ensure food safety of products being produced and packaged, by
ensuring that targeted Quality functions and objectives are established and
communicated to all interested parties while supporting the Company’s food
safety objectives
QualificationsCandidates will ideally satisfy the following minimum requirements:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other
science related field.
2. Three (3) years of food processing experience within a manufacturing
environment is a distinct requirement
3. Certification in HACCP
4. Certification in Quality Systems
5. Experience with both continuous processing and packaging equipment
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently
7. Demonstrated experience improving operations and key metrics for
quality improvement and cost reduction
8. Effective problem analysis and resolution at the strategic and functional
level
9. Ability to interact successfully with cross-functional stakeholders at all
levels, both internally and externally
